Jenn and I started "running" a few months ago in preparation for a 15K in May. The 5K was just to make sure we remember what it's like to get up at 5:45 in the morning followed by physical activity. I think I can get my 8:53/mile pace down to 8:00/mile for the 5K runs, but I'm targeting 9:00/mile for the 15K. At that pace, I'll be running for an hour and a half in order to cover the 9.6 or so miles. All of this assumes I don't die one day while "training". Oh yeah.
